Pro Trac is an innovative track mounting system for fishing and marine accessories.  Pro Trac system is ideal for boats of all sizes. Bass boats, Walleye boats and big water boats can all benefit from the Pro Trac system. The Pro Trac system is an innovative new approach to mounting fishing and marine accessories to watercraft. Install a Pro Trac system on your boat and you may never have to drill a hole again! If you’ve ever rigged a boat you know how intimidating it can be. Drilling holes for each accessory, hoping they will be in just the right location. And if they are not, then what do you do? What happens if you want to change that accessory to a new one that requires different holes? The list of “gotcha’s” goes on and on... The Pro Trac system eliminates the hassles and worry of mounting accessories to your boat. Simply mount the Pro Trac to the gunwales and/or transom of your boat and never again worry about drilling holes!

Mounting accessories to the Pro Trac is quick and simple. Simply select the appropriate mounting slide, attach the accessory of your choice, and slide it into position on the Pro Trac. A simple tightening of the clamp bolt is all that is required to lock the accessory into position. It’s that simple! Accessories such as rod holders, downriggers, cup holders, sonar units and more can be installed in minutes. Changing accessory positions is a breeze, too! Simply loosen the clamp bolt, slide the accessory into the new position, and re-tighten. Now repositioning your accessories can be done even on the water in seconds!

Pro Trac’s unique clamping design rigidly holds the mounting slide in position without a single scratch, nick, or dent to the track. In minutes you can remove all your accessories leaving only the sleek looking Pro Trac rails. Mount a Pro Trac to the wall of your garage and you now have an out-of-the-way place to store accessories when not in use. Just think, in the morning you could be downrigger fishing or trolling for walleye, and in the afternoon, water skiing without all those in-the-way downriggers, rod holders, etc. The Pro Trac’s sleek appearance and non-slip top surface also make it ideal for a handrail or a stepping platform when entering the boat from a dock.

The Pro Trac system was designed with the customer in mind. Our track mounting systems accommodate a wide variety of marine products from manufactures such as Big Jon, Cannon, Tight Lok, RAM mounts and more! They are pre-drilled for quick and easy installation of accessories. In addition, blank accessory mounting slides are available for user customized applications.

And finally, should you ever decide to trade in your boat for a new model, simply remove your accessories and leave the Pro Trac installed. The new owner of your boat will now be able to customize the boat to fit his or her own needs and your accessories can be re-installed on your new Pro Trac equipped boat!

The picture above is the Pro Trac system with three different size slide mounts. You are looking at the rail as if you were in the boat looking out over the gunwale or transom. Notice the bolt on the front of each mounting slide. A simple loosening of this bolt and the accessories can be repositioned. Snug down the bolt and the accessories are rigidly locked in position. Sliding the accessories back and forth does not mar or scratch the surface of the track in any way.

Step 1.  Get supplies ready to install: Mount slide, slide clamp, bolt/washer and rail/track.

Step 2.   Slide mount into position on the rail/track. 

Step 3.  Tighten bolt to secure mounting slide in the desired position.           

Install a "Pro Trac" mounting system and never have an accessory in the wrong location again!   If you want to change the location of an accessory simply loosen the bolt and slide into the new position and then re-tighten the bolt.  It is that easy!

Pro Trac is manufactured of anodized marine grade aluminum and is big water tough! Pro Trac measures only 1 1/8” in height but can handle the brutal forces of a downrigger. Pro Trac can be mounted to any relatively flat surface and the unique clamp-style mounting sytem allows it to be cut to any length without the need to drill mounting holes in the track. Pro Trac is available in lengths of 3, 4, 6 & 8 ft. Custom cut lengths of up to 12 ft. are also available as special order items. Pro Trac is available in clear and gold anodized finishes.

Accessory Mounting Slides - Accessories such as rod holders, sonar units, cup holders, etc. are attached to the mounting slides which then can be installed onto the Pro Trac. Mounting slides are designed to slide into position from the end of the track. They are able to move freely along the length of the track but are held captive by the track such that they can not lift off. Once installed, a simple tightening of the clamp bolt rigidly secures the accessory into position. Mounting slides can be added, removed or repositioned without the use of a drill! Mounting slides are available with the accessory mounting surface pre-drilled and tapped to accept a wide variety of accessories such as aluminum rod holders from Big Jon and Tight-Lok, plastic rod holders from Cabela’s and Scotty as well as accessories such as RAM mounts. Undrilled slides are also available for custom user applications. Accessory mounting slides include the mounting slide, slide clamp, clamp bolt and washer.

Downrigger Mounting Slides - Downrigger mounting slides function in the very same way as the accessory mounting slides as shown above except they offer a larger mounting platform to accept the large bases of downriggers. In addition, they feature two locking clamp bolts for added strength. Downrigger mounting slides are available pre-drilled and tapped to accept downriggers and swivel bases from companies such as Big Jon, Walker, Scotty, Penn, and Cannon. Undrilled mounting slides are available for custom user applications. Downrigger mounting slides include the mounting slide, slide clamp, clamp bolts and washers.

Quick Slides - Quick slides are similar to the accessory mounting slides shown above. The difference is that quick slides can be installed from the side of the track instead of the end. This feature allows accessories such as sonar units, plastic rod holders, cup holders, etc. to be ‘quickly’ added to the track without requiring the existing accessories to be removed. Quick Slides are not recommended for high-force applications such as aluminum rod holders. Quick Slides include the mounting slide, slide clamp, clamp bolt and washer.

Pro Trac Clamps - Pro Trac is secured to the boat by means of track clamps. Track clamps should be installed every 12 to 18” for maximum strength. The clamps are designed such that they can slide into any position along the length of the track. Only one hole is required in the boat per clamp. Once installed, the clamps are tightened from the under side of the boat mounting surface creating a sandwich effect that rigidly holds the track in place without the need for holes in the track itself. No mounting hardware is visible after installation. Pro Trac Clamps include and upper clamp piece, lower clamp piece, clamp bolt, nut & washer.
